We hire slow, build fast

We don't have open roles at the moment, but we're always interested in meeting people who care deeply about craft. If that's you, read on.

The culture

What it's like to work here

Softnixt is a small, senior-leaning team. We don't have layers of management between an idea and its execution. When something ships, the person who built it made the important decisions.

We work mostly async, communicate directly, and care more about the quality of thinking than the quantity of messages. We hire people we'd genuinely want to learn from.

Outcomes over output

We measure success by what we deliver, not hours logged. Nobody here is counting days. We're counting results.

High ownership, low hierarchy

Everyone at Softnixt owns their work end-to-end. We don't hand things off to be lost in a chain of approvals. You see it through.

Honest over diplomatic

We say what we think — to clients and to each other. Honest feedback delivered respectfully is how we all get better.

Always learning

The field moves fast. We build in time to experiment, read, and build things we're not getting paid for yet. That's how expertise is maintained.

What we look for

The traits that matter here

We hire on capability and character, not credentials. These are the things that actually predict whether someone thrives at Softnixt.

Strong technical fundamentals

You understand how things work, not just how to make them work. You can explain your decisions and spot problems before they become expensive.

Client-aware thinking

You understand that code is a means to an end. You think about what the client is actually trying to achieve, not just the ticket in front of you.

Written clarity

We work async. If you can't communicate an idea clearly in writing, it'll slow the whole team down. Strong writers make strong teammates.

Constructive disagreement

You push back when something isn't right — but with reasoning, not ego. The goal is always the best outcome, not being right.

Genuine curiosity

You follow threads because you find them interesting, not just because someone asked you to. That curiosity is how you stay ahead.

Reliability without reminders

You do what you say you'll do, when you said you'd do it. If something changes, you communicate early. No one has to chase you.

No open roles? Send anyway.

We review speculative applications seriously. If you're exceptional and the timing is ever right, we'll reach out. The best people rarely appear when we're hiring.
